Role Summary: 

As Manager – HR Business Partner, you will serve as a key advisor to business and project leaders across Sobha Constructions. This role requires a strong grasp of HR operations, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to influence strategic decisions through people-focused insights. You will work closely with department heads, site leaders, and corporate HR teams to ensure seamless execution of HR initiatives and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities: 

Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management: • Act as a strategic partner to HODs, project directors, and business leaders across construction sites and corporate functions. • Build strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to understand business priorities and develop people-centric solutions. • Influence and support leadership in driving performance, productivity, and employee engagement across functions.

 HR Operations & Execution: 

• Ensure seamless execution of HR processes including onboarding, performance management, workforce planning, employee relations, and exit management. • Collaborate with site HR teams to ensure timely and compliant HR service delivery. • Track HR metrics (attrition, manpower planning, absenteeism, etc.) and report insights to leadership for action. 

Talent & Capability Development: 

• Work with COEs to identify capability gaps and support training, development, and upskilling initiatives. • Partner in implementing talent management practices like high-potential identification, internal mobility, and leadership development

Employee Engagement & Culture Building: • Champion a culture of discipline, safety, ownership, and high performance aligned with Sobha’s core values.  

Drive site-level employee engagement initiatives, grievance redressal mechanisms, and employee welfare programs. Change Management & Strategic Projects: • Support execution of HR transformation and organizational change initiatives across project locations. • Lead or contribute to key HR projects like digitization, policy rollout, compliance audits, and process improvements. 

Desired Profile:

 • MBA or Master’s in HR / Personnel Management from a reputed institution. • 14–16 years of HR experience, preferably in the construction, infrastructure, or real estate sectors. • Proven track record in business partnering and stakeholder engagement. • Strong command over HR operations, labor compliance, and workforce management in a project/site-based setup. • Go-getter with a solution-oriented mindset, proactive approach, and high ownership. • Excellent communication, influencing, and people management skills. • Willingness to travel frequently to project sites as required
