Position: Senior Engineer - Procurement

  1. Identify, evaluate, and pre-qualify potential suppliers and subcontractors for MEP materials, equipment, and services, both locally and internationally.
  2. Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs), Requests for Proposal (RFPs), and Invitation to Tender (ITT) documents, ensuring clear technical specifications and commercial terms.
  3. Lead the bid evaluation process, conduct technical and commercial comparisons, and prepare bid evaluation reports
  4. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve favorable outcomes while maintaining quality and delivery timelines.
  5. Manage the full procurement cycle from purchase requisition to delivery and acceptance of goods/services.
  6. Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) and contract documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  7. Monitor supplier and subcontractor performance, track deliveries, and resolve any issues or discrepancies
  8. Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand MEP requirements and provide procurement support throughout the project lifecycle.  
  9. Ensure that all procured materials and services meet the required quality standards and comply with relevant regulations and codes.
  10. Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation, and reporting related to MEP activities, including expenditures, contracts, and supplier performance.
  11. Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and technological advancements in MEP systems.
  12. Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and value engineering initiatives in the MEP procurement process.
  13. Manage and maintain strong relationships with key MEP suppliers and subcontractors.
  14. Assess and mitigate risks associated with MEP procurement activities.
  15. Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements in all procurement activities.
