Job Summary:

The Procurement Engineer for Design Consultancy Services is responsible for managing the procurement of consultancy services related to design and engineering for construction projects

Key Responsibilities:

• This role involves identifying and selecting consultants, negotiating contracts and the ability to manage multiple projects
• Develop and implement procurement strategies for design consultancy services, including architectural, structural, civil and other engineering consultancy services
• Work closely with design and engineering teams to align procurement activities with project requirements and schedules
• Manage contracts for design consultancy services, thorough and accurate documentation of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders and performance records
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in the procurement of design consultancy services.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management. Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, PMP) are a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on design consultancy services for construction projects
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, e-sourcing platforms).
• Knowledge of construction design principles, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
