Job Description – Sr. HR & Recruitment Executive (Technician Workforce)
Position Title: Sr. HR & Recruitment Executive – Technicians

Reports To: HR Manager / HR Business Partner

Role Purpose
The HR & Recruitment Executive is responsible for end-to-end technician manpower management, including visa renewals, local & overseas recruitment, onboarding, documentation, coordination with PRO/PR teams, compliance activities, and HR operational support. The role ensures timely mobilization, smooth onboarding, and proper documentation of all technician workforce.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment – Local & Overseas (Technicians)
Local Recruitment
- Plan and organize local recruitment drives.
- Screen and shortlist candidates.
- Coordinate technical interviews with business/technical teams.
- Issue offer letters and manage candidate acceptance.
- Validate documents and initiate visa requests.
- Complete onboarding based on manpower requirements.
Overseas Recruitment
- Plan and manage complete overseas technician recruitment cycles.
- Liaise with international recruitment agencies.
- Prepare travel itineraries (flights, accommodation) for recruitment trips.
- Obtain required approvals from management.
- Travel with Technical Managers for overseas selections, when required.
- Prepare evaluation and selection reports.
- Coordinate with agencies for visa medicals and required documentation.
- Submit visa requests and share issued visas with agencies.
- Confirm travel itineraries for selected candidates.
- Facilitate onboarding upon arrival.
- Inform business and relevant teams upon candidate arrivals.
- Coordinate airport pickup and arrival logistics.
2. Onboarding – Technicians
- Conduct company induction for new joiners.
- Create employee codes/records in HR systems.
- Collect and hand over employee documents for personnel files.
- Arrange biometric/RFID access for new employees.
- Share onboarding details and IDs with Payroll/HR Operations.
3. Medical Insurance & PR Coordination
- Apply and activate medical insurance for new employees.
- Coordinate with the PR/PRO team for visa medicals, Emirates ID, and government services.
4. E-Migrate / International Hiring Compliance
- Prepare Demand Letters and Power of Attorney for overseas recruitment.
- Submit Emigrate clearance requests and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
5. Visa Renewal & Compliance
- Initiate and manage the visa renewal process for technicians.
- Coordinate multi-level approval workflows with relevant departments.
- Follow up with approvers to complete all steps within required timelines.
- Arrange employee signatures and documentation for visa renewal.
- Share all necessary documents with the PR/PRO team for visa processing.
- Coordinate for Visa Medical and Emirates ID applications.
- Update relevant stakeholders once medical tests and biometrics are scheduled.
6. Reports & Workforce Data
- Maintain monthly recruitment and agency activity reports.
- Prepare and update onboarding data for both local and overseas hires.
- Maintain trackers such as:
- Visa Renewal Tracker
- Medical Examination Tracker
- Emirates ID Tracker
7. Promotions & Salary Revisions
- Support technician-to-staff promotions.
- Coordinate documentation and approvals for salary revisions.
8. Employee Engagement & Recognition
- Support employee engagement programs and HR initiatives.
- Assist in employee awards and recognition activities.
9. Payroll Support
- Support monthly payroll processing for technicians.
- Submit offer letters and approved documents for payroll and HR systems.
Qualifications & Experience
- MBA in HR from reputed college.
- 5+ years of experience in HR operations or recruitment, preferably in construction, engineering, or manpower-heavy industries.
- Experience in UAE visa processing, PR coordination, or overseas recruitment is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
- Good communication skills (English; Hindi preferred).
- Knowledge of UAE labor laws and visa procedures.
- Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders and agencies.
- High attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems.
