Position: Assistant Manager - Talent Acquisition

JOB PURPOSE: 

To source and retain an outstanding workforce and focus on ongoing quest to discover talent, provide administrative assistance and maintain databases with candidate information. 

  • Develop & execute recruitment plans across the organization. 

  • Assist the Hiring Managers / HODs in conducting and scheduling telephonic, virtual and in-person interviews of qualified candidates. 

  • Identify and source appropriate talent for current open roles within the company and its other entities.  

  • Assist in onboarding new hires, conduct reference checks, complete new hire paperwork, update new hire information in the company tracker. 

  • Identify future talent needs and proactively recruit and source; develop talent pool or social engagements. 

  • Manage the recruitment process and life-cycle, including initial assessments, interviews, and offers. 

  • Counsel the candidate on corporate benefits, salary, and corporate environment. 

  • Use social media, job boards, internet sourcing, and other technical means to source candidates for available vacancies. 

  • Actively participate in campus recruiting programs and employment events, such as career fairs.  

  • Maintain relationships with third party recruitment agencies and staffing firms to ensure optimum quality of workforce. 

  • Perform all other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned by General Manager - TA.
