Electrical Foreman

 

Supervision and Team Management:

 

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of electricians and electrical technicians, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, performance evaluations, and training sessions to enhance skills and productivity.

 

Electrical Installations:

 

  • Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, control systems, and low-voltage systems as per project drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and engineers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment needed for electrical work.
  • Responsible to complete the works on time as per the target program given by the Engineer.
  • Responsible to collaborate with other trade foremen to ensure coordination of services prior to installation to avoid any potential clashes.
  • Coordinate with the MEP team to ensure proper integration of electrical systems with mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Monitor electrical system performance, troubleshoot operational issues, and implement energy-saving measures where possible.

 

Safety and Compliance:

 

  • Enforce strict adherence to electrical safety regulations and local authority codes for safe working practices.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, identify hazards, and implement corrective actions to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Coordinate with project safety team on a day to day basis to ensure the workplace is safe.

 

Quality Control:

 

  • Conduct inspections and quality checks on electrical installations to ensure compliance with design specifications, standards, and quality requirements.
  • Ensure the inspections are offered on time and obtain approvals on the first instance by doing first time right installation.
  • Address any deviations or deficiencies promptly, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues effectively.

 

 

Documentation and Reporting:

 

  • Maintain accurate records of electrical materials, equipment, installations, maintenance activities, and inspections.
  • Prepare daily progress reports, work schedules, manpower requirements for project management review and audit.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
  • Responsible to keep redline as-built drawings for any deviations made in the installation.
  • Proficiency in using electrical tools, testing equipment, and relevant software.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, manage priorities, and meet project deadlines.

 

Work Experience:

The candidate must have at least 10 years of experience in high rise buildings/ luxury villa projects.

 

Educational Qualification:

The candidate must have Diploma/ITI/equivalent certification from accredited institutions.
